KDDI to Introduce New Service Allowing Carry-over of Unused Talk Time <Attachment>
| 1. Overview |
| | | |
With an eye to increased customer satisfaction through improved service, the three-month carry-over service introduced on January 17, 2006, which allowed au mobile phone users to carry over unused talk time for up to three months, will now be offered as an indefinite carry-over service.
Beginning in August of this year, any talk time that remains unused at the end of the month may be carried over indefinitely, as long as it falls within the maximum limit for the payment plan in question, as outlined below. In addition to the regular carry-over service, subscribers to the Family Discount Plan will have the option of a 'Family Split' service that allows members of a family to share unused talk time amongst themselves. Current subscribers to the Family Discount Plan who would like to begin using this service in August are asked to apply in advance; applications will be accepted beginning July 3.
* |
Please apply via the Payment-Application-Info. (Ryokin-Moshikomi-Info) function for EZweb. Applications will not be accepted at au shops.
|
* |
The carry-over service cannot be used with payment plans that do not include free talk time such as the 'Gaku-wari (Student Discount)', 'Smile Heart Discount' and 'Single Service' plans.
|
* |
In cases of cancellation or temporary stoppage of service, any unused talk time will be lost.
