KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce that users of 'one seg' -compatible au mobile phones exceeded one million on October 22, 2006.
KDDI began sales of 'one seg' -compatible au mobile phones on December 16, 2005, becoming the first service provider to offer terrestrial digital television broadcasting to mobile phones. In addition to offering television programs with a clear picture and sound, KDDI has collaborated with broadcasting corporations to provide content for mobile phones in order to offer its customers the best possible service.
