KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to introduce the new 'au Smart Sports' service, seamlessly linking mobile phones and personal computers to provide new ways to enjoy your favorite sporting activities. The new service will become available on January 31.

'au Smart Sports' is a comprehensive service, helping au subscribers to 'shape up' through sporting activities with applications like training history and management to support everyday sporting activities on mobile phones, and access to sports-related products, sports news and information on EZweb and PC.

'au Smart Sports Run & Walk' includes 'Run & Walk' applications on au phones that support your training and walking activities with functions like a calories-burned counter, and can enrich your workout by linking to a PC with the 'Run & Walk' website.

You can also use the music player to enhance your running or walking experience. The 'Run & Walk' website provides play lists designed to get you going while you do your workout.

Starting in March, au will also be introducing new mobile sports fashion items like phone covers created in collaboration with famous fashion brands.

'au Smart Sports Run & Walk' is a service provided jointly by KDDI and J-Stream. Development of the systems and applications was provided by J-Stream.
