(1) Providing the Overseas Area Network Package (IP-VPN) in India
In cooperation with the largest communications carrier in India Sify, KDDI will launch IP-VPN services in more than 450 cities throughout India. This will provide customers that have multiple offices in India with an inexpensive and efficient network service.

(2) Providing the Overseas Area Network Package (IP-VPN) in Central and South America
KDDI will make use of the more than 200 POPs [1] in Central and South America possessed by Telefonica, the largest communications carrier in South America, and will launch IP-VPN services. This service will provide customers who have multiple offices in Central and South America with a network that makes inexpensive and efficient communication within the area possible.

(3) Providing the Overseas Area Network Package (wide-area Ethernet service) in Europe
Making use of services provided by COLT Telecom, a major European communications company for corporations, KDDI will provide wide-area Ethernet in 16 countries throughout Europe. This service makes broadband, inexpensive network services within Europe possible. In combination with KDDI Global Powered Ethernet, it will be possible to provide international network services for Europe and flexible wide-area Ethernet services within Europe.
