KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce the introduction of 'EZ Chaku Uta Full Plus™', a music service that will make it possible to download music tracks at a high bit rate of ACC [1] 320kbps [2]. Service will commence from the latter part of December 2008.
The EZ Chaku Uta Full Plus™ music distribution service employs ACC [1] compression technology with a high data rate of 320kbps for encoding, making it possible to save original audio content with less loss. Like EZ Chaku Uta Full® content, EZ Chaku Uta Full Plus™ content can be easily downloaded anywhere with compatible handsets, while the content is reproduced with powerful sound using Sony HDD component NetJuke through the LISMO and its Audio Equipment Compatibility based on the 'au x Sony MUSIC PROJECT'. Downloaded tracks can also be forwarded to Walkman® devices [3]. In addition, EZ Chaku Uta Full Plus™ content can be used to suit users' preferences with various products compatible with wireless music, a new listening style that makes use of Bluetooth® technology.
In addition, the latest update of the integrated computer software LISMO Port, which is also compatible with various services including EZ Chaku Uta Full Plus™, will be available from December 8, 2008. This will make it possible for users to download Chaku Uta Full Plus™ content from the LISMO Music Store as well as content downloaded using compatible handsets to Walkman devices. In addition, 'the mora for LISMO', provided by Label Gate Inc., and in which major record labels are officially participating, can be paid with Edy electronic money while CDs can be also burned from downloaded mora tracks.
