KDDI Announces GUN-GUN Mail with New Price Scheme - Introducing New Price Plans for Free au Emails

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular announced their new price plans for au mobile phones, named Plan E Simple and Plan E, slated to start on November 9, 2009. Users subscribing these new services with EZ WIN Course [1] will be able to use free [2] au emails regardless of their destinations and photo/video attachments, with the monthly basic fee of 780 yen (tax included).[3]

In addition, users can enjoy EZweb packet communications without worrying about the fees, as it offers as a package a fixed-rate packet service with the monthly maximum fee of 4,410 yen (tax included).

The combination of Plan E Simple or Plan E with EZ WIN Course will be offered to users with the new service name of GUN-GUN Mail.

Going forward, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are planning to offer attractive price schemes for users.

[1] CDMA 1X WIN users can use EZweb and emails with the monthly fee of 315 yen (tax included).
[2] Only the emails sent through EZ WIN Course will be free. The emails sent when using international roaming are excluded.
[3] This is the fee when Plan E Simple is combined with the Daredemo-wari discount package.
