KDDI Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda, Tokyo; President and Chairman: Tadashi Onodera) and Jibe Mobile K.K. (Head office: Minato, Tokyo; President: Norihisa Mukai) today announced the launch of Social Address Book Service "jibe" which will be released after November 2010 for au smartphone.
"jibe" is an application which brings 16 services and media sites into one platform., such as SNS, Blogs, and Gourmet search services. Most of Major services are supported including Twitter, au one GREE, mixi, Ameblo, Cocolog, Gourmet Navigator, Livedoor Gourmet and so on.
Customers can read, post, and share messages and information with just one application. They can post messages or add comments to multiple SNS services with single action. Messages from friends in multiple SNS services are displayed on one screen and can be filtered by time, person, or service.
With "jibe" Gourmet search function, search results including Open hours, Customers reviews, and Map links are easily imported to their social address book with single tap.
It also gives opportunities to enjoy social services to customers without signing up to the SNS services. They can read latest news topics, popular blogs and twitters. Celebrities and famous SNS users are introduced with their blog and twitter accounts as jibe recommends.
KDDI Corporation and Jibe Mobile K.K. will corporate to create new services and collaboration with au existing services.
