KDDI Corporation and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company today announced the release of 14 new models [1]. The models will be launched after late October, 2010. All models of the lineup, as in the case of the 2010 summer models, are waterproof. Introduction of models that support "WIN HIGH SPEED" [2] and expansion of models supporting "Wi-Fi WIN," which allows Wi-Fi communication, enable even better communication environment. The lineup also includes popular "G'zOne" series model and models known for high-quality camera brands.

"G'zOne TYPE-X" is the highest quality model in its series in terms of anti-water, dust and shock (according to MIL standard.[3]) There are also models heralding famous camera brands. "EXILIM-Keitai CA006" comes with a 13.2 megapixel camera that can shoot high resolution movies. "AQUOS SHOT SH010" has a 14.1 megapixel CCD camera and can be operated on the touch screen. "Cyber-shot™ phone S006" comes with the world's first 16.2 megapixel camera [4] and shoots beautiful pictures with high-resolution CMOS "Exmor R." "BRAVIA® Phone S005" is known for its high quality visual quality.

"T006" is a slide-open model with a 12.2 megapixel camera. "SH009" comes with a 8 megapixel CCD camera and seven colors. "SH011" is a model with a stylish design and a 9.6 megapixel CCD camera that has x4.8 digital zoom function. "K007" comes with a 8 megapixel camera. It has "Rilakkuma" character wallpapers and decoration data preinstalled. In addition, the model changes illumination lights according to different notices.

"T005," with its "one-action open" function, opens with just pushing a button. "URBANO MOND" is the first of URBANO series to support "Global Passport," the dual roaming service for GSM/CDMA. "Simple Phone K008" is water and dust proof and comes with easy-to-use keys that are easy to recognize visually. "PT002" is a simple design model with large keys and easy usage. "K006 without camera" is a corporate model excluding camera and external memory functions.

Release dates will be announced separately.

"G'zOne TYPE-X," "EXILIM-Keitai CA006," "AQUOS SHOT SH010," "BRAVIA® Phone S005," "T005," "SH009" and "URBANO MOND" will be displayed at KDDI Designing Studio (Harajuku, Tokyo) from Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
