Introducing "IS Flat," a new price plan for au smartphones

KDDI Corporation and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company today announced introduction of "IS Flat," a new packet flat-rate service, to allow customers to enjoy web services available with smartphones more casually and comfortably. The new rate comes below the maximum rate of the conventional packet communication flat charge. Subscriptions will be accepted from Friday, November 26, 2010.

By paying monthly flat rate of 5,460 yen (including tax), customers can use the packet communication service with smartphones 525 yen (including tax) lower than 5,985 yen (including tax), which is the maximum rate for the conventional packet transmission flat rate plan. The new service can be subscribed in combination with all payment plans of CDMA 1X WIN [1].
