Establishment of Corporate Philosophy, Symbol and Slogan for KDD Corporation

Kokusai Denshin Denwa Co., Ltd. (KDD) and Teleway Corporation (Teleway) have set up together the corporate philosophy, symbol, and slogan to be used after the merger of these two companies that will give birth to KDD Corporation on the 1st of the coming December. Taking the opportunity of the merger, the newborn KDD Corporation will, in one united body, launch CI activities so that it will make a more genial and accessible enterprise for customers, striving for developing into "a comprehensive global communications company".

These corporate philosophy, symbol, and slogan of KDD Corporation will appear in various communication media including signboards, corporate insignia, and TV advertisements after December 1 whenever a need arises.

1. Corporate Philosophy

"Bringing People Together"

The basic philosophy of KDD Corporation is to share in an effort to create a better society plenty of humanity by advancing the information and communication industry as a comprehensive global communications company providing information and communication services at the highest level in the world.

2. Corporate Symbol

The corporate symbol is designed as shown in Attachment 2, taking a human being always advancing vigorously as a motif that symbolizes the way KDD Corporation is dynamically developing, considering services for customers above everything else. It also represents an image of KDD that, playing a leading part in the information-oriented society, contributes to the public by bringing people together, and linking people with society.

Its form as a whole makes people feel a comfortable, affluent and pleasant life, and for its logo style soft-touch characters that will easily be familiarized are employed, recognizing that the newborn KDD must be an adaptable company close to customers. For its color, "KDD Red" is used which represents warmth, humanity, and passion.

"KDD. It's For You"

It puts forth with the inflexible determination that "KDD will always be ready for serving customers", the newborn KDD's commitment to devote itself to the customer-first principle.
