(hereinafter referred to as 5Rocks: Headquarters: Seoul, Korea; CEO: Changsu Lee, CSO: Chester Roh), a portfolio company of KDDI Open Innovation Fund, announced that 5Rocks closed a merger transaction with Tapjoy, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Tapjoy, Headquarters: San Francisco, USA; CEO: Steve Wadsworth).
KDDI Open Innovation Fund has provided 5Rocks with a wide variety of support, including assistance of 5Rocks advance into Japan, strategic capital tie-ups, and planning of global growth strategies that aim at future business expansion.
