KDDI Open Innovation Fund III Invests in QunaSys, Developer of Algorithms for Quantum Computers

KDDI invested in QunaSys Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tennin Yan; hereinafter: "QunaSys"), which develops and offers algorithms and application software for quantum computers, through KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (operated by Global Brain Corporation; hereinafter "KOIF III"), which aims to incubate new business co-creations with promising venture startups.

QunaSys studies and develops next-generation computation techniques using quantum computers. The company specializes in advanced algorithm development and industrial application in the area of quantum computing. Notably, it has made innovative achievements in chemical simulations.

Through this investment, KDDI partners with QunaSys to integrate quantum computing techniques and communication technologies, aiming to build next-generation digital infrastructure.
