February 5, 2025
KDDI CORPORATION
KDDI made an additional investment in MOSH, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazuya Yabu; hereinafter "MOSH"), the provider of the "MOSH" individual brand support service for selling services on the Internet, through KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (operated by Global Brain Corporation; hereinafter "KOIF III"), which aims to incubate new business co-creations with promising venture startups.
"MOSH" is a storefront type [1] of EC platform which enables users to easily sell various services on the Internet. In addition to features that enable users to easily create and implement web sites, reservations, settlement, monthly subscriptions, membership sites, and content management using their smartphone, MOSH also supports customer management and the sale of digital content. Going forward, the company aims to enhance their products by adding more advanced features to better meet the needs of individual creators while also fostering the development of a new "person-to-person" economy.
Through this investment, KDDI will utilize the assets of the KDDI Group to support MOSH in creating a system that strengthens every individual brand, with the goal of promoting the creator economy.
As "the company that customers feel closest to," KDDI will continue to promote business co-creation through investment in promising startup companies, and create new business models together with customers and partners.
