Use of IP phone compatible devices (provided by NTT East/NTT West) (For customers who have subscribed to the partner providers)

"IP phone compatible device (provided by NTT East/NTT West)" is a communication device for the IP phone system that uses the Internet, provided by NTT East/NTT West.
IP phone compatible device (provided by NTT East/NTT West) currently comes in three types –– the internal ADSL modem router, router, and adaptor, and all three can be used with KDDI IP phone system.

Note

  • Customers who have subscribed to FLET'S ADSL or B FLET'S can use the IP phone compatible device provided by NTT East/NTT West. To request the rental or purchase of IP phone compatible devices, contact NTT East/NTT West.
  • If you wish to rent the IP phone adaptor [¥418 (tax included)/month] provided by KDDI for FLET'S ADSL or B FLET'S, contact your provider.
  • An ADSL modem will also be needed.

Dialing a call

Dialing beginning with "#"

    When you would like to make a call via a general subscriber phone, first dial "0000" and then dial phone number of a general subscriber phone or mobile phone/PHS. This allows you to use the service via a general subscriber phone.
    • In the case of "IP phone compatible device (provided by NTT East/NTT West)." When using an IP phone adopter provided by KDDI, dial "0009" first.

Note

  • When you first configure the "IP phone compatible device (provided by NTT East/NTT West)", your area code needs to be set, which allows you to dial from your local code.
  • When dialing a phone number starting with a specific number, the call is automatically switched to a general subscriber phone.
