The KDDI Group launched its data center business in the U.S. and Europe in 1989 under the 'Telehouse' brand name. The specifications for and security at facilities, network connectivity, and reliability have received high praise in the U.S. and Europe. Telehouse boasts around 1,200 corporate customers, including both Japanese companies and foreign companies, and one of the largest numbers of sites and floor space.
Since data center services are the core of the ICT solutions promoted by KDDI, the data centers both in Japan and overseas will be integrated under the 'Telehouse' brand, which is well known in the U.S. and Europe, and will provide the following services.

(2) Global integrated operating standards
(3) Global facility quality management
(4) Global managed services
(1) Overseas 11 facilities in 6 regions and 7 cities; total floor space of around 70,000m²; around 1,200 contracted companies
(2) Japan 24 facilities in 9 cities; total floor space of around 40,000m²; around 800 contracted companies
